Jackson Low on a high in Singapore

Former Malaysian champion jockey Jackson Low's decision to move south to ride in Singapore this month is starting to pay off handsomely and making his peers to take notice.

A double on TORRECAMPO and UNIQUE ONE today brought his record at Kranji thus far to four wins, a second and a third from just eight rides.

Four-year-old TORRECAMPO was also a recent arrival in Singapore, having raced nine times for trainer Richard Lines in Kuala Lumpur for two seconds.

However, the Australian gelding did venture to Singapore to contest a cross-border race last November but was unplaced. It's a different story this time around.

UNIQUE ONE landed in Malaysia first but never raced there before coming to Singapore, managing two placings in her first six outings.

However, a change of trainer to Alwin Tan earlier this month brought instant result as she started favourite and Low brought her from last early to win the Maiden, Div 1 - 1400m event.
