Money Machine impresses in
Trial KUALA LUMPUR: May
24, 2014 |

After two good placings in
the big races last year, MONEY MACHINE is ready to win one of his own this
season after a superb showing in the Piala Emas Sultan Selangor Trial over
1600m at Sungei Besi here today.
Racing for the second time
this season after a short let-up, the Australian six-year-old ran his rivals
off their feet, winning by five and a half lengths after taking the lead
right from the start.
It was his third victory
from nine starts after coming over from Australia where he raced eight times
in two seasons for two wins and four placings.
After winning two races in
the lower classes last year, MONEY MACHINE finished second to TAICHI MASTER
in the Coronation Cup (1600m) last November and was third to stablemate
MONSILI in the Yang Di Pertua Negero Gold Cup (2000m) a month later.
