Ooi Chin Chin, who joined
the trainer's rank last month, saddled his first winner when GOOD MEANING
romped to an easy win in a Class 4 - 1200m sprint here today.
The New Zealand
six-year-old, who won two races in 2011, bounced back to form to chalk up
another two wins early last year but a bleeding attack last July left him
out of the scene for six months.
GOOD MEANING resumed racing
and was unplaced four runs this season before finding the mark with a
three-length victory today, racing for the second time for Ooi.
The win was apprentice's
Tham Kin Chong seventh for the season and he joins Lim Aun Kean at the top
of the apprentice table with seven wins apiece.
