Easy for Ramifications in Malaysian debut

KUALA LUMPUR:  Jun 28, 2014

Unplaced in three starts in Australia, RAMIFICATIONS was finally able to prove her worth when she made a winning debut in the Maiden - 1200m handicap at Sungei Besu here today.

Much was expected of the Australian filly when her owner paid A$82,500 for her as a yearling but he failed to show up in one run at two and two starts at three down under.

Since her arrival in Malaysia, RAMIFICATIONS has impressed in her track work, prompting punters to send her out a firm favourite at RM11 for a win.

Ridden by apprentice Chung Wah Thong, the three-year-old was always travelling well behind the pace before going on to win three and a quarter lengths.
