Second win for Waterfall in seven days

KUALA LUMPUR:  Dec 6, 2014

WATERFALL, who provided jockey Jose De Souza a record-breaking 70th win of the season last Sunday, made it two wins in seven days when he cruised to victory again in a Class 4 - 1200m handicap at Sungi Besi here today.

With De Souza not in action today, the ride on the Australian gelding went to apprentice Mohd Zulfikri Mohd Salim and the young lad took the opportunity well to register his 10th win of the season.

But for jockey Mohd Nizam Abdul Jabah, his long awaited first win of the season came on DYNAMIC TRIO.

Lim Shung Uai kept his slim chance of bagging the apprentice title alive when he scored on SHIMBASHI. The win brought his tally to 16 for the season, six wins behind leading apprentice Tham Kin Chong with six racing days to go in the 2014 season.
