Black And White continues to make progress

It's plain for all to see: the talent of BLACK AND WHITE.

After his superb second to MYSTIC POWER in the RM1mil Malaysia Magic Millions Classic last month, the three-year-old quickly bounced back to win a set-weight event over 1200m here today — his fifth win in his last six appearances.

Ridden by Yap Kim Yin, BLACK AND WHITE was the firm favourite in the 15-horse field and never gave his backers any anxious moment. Settled just behind the leader till the straight, he swept to the front with ease to win by one and a quarter lengths.

Costing A$26,000 as a yearling, the gelding was sold for just A$11,000 at the Horses In Training Sale and what a bargain that turned out to be.

After two unplaced runs, BLACK AND WHITE has gone on from strength to strength.
