Wind Of Success only spark in Penang

PENANG:  May 3, 2014

WIND OF SUCCESS was the only bright spot for punters in small programme of five races here today.

Following two unplaced runs this season after a short let-up, the Australian gelding bounced back to form to win by three-quarter length in a Class 4 - 1300m handicap.

It was the seventh win in 36 starts for WIND OF SUCCESS who has to survive an objection for interference. The second favourite in the field, he paid RM14 for a win.

The other four winners all returned good odds as favourites were all wiped out.

Eight-year-old GEORGIE BOY recorded his first win since October 2011 when he comfortably won a Class 5 - 1600m handicap.  It was his fifth win since 2009.

DECISIVE, whose only previous win came in November 2012, earned a hard-fought victory and paid RM99 for a win.
