Zairi wins appeal against

Jockey Muhammad Zairi bin Hassim had won his appeal against a one-year disqualification and fine of RM20,000 for his ride on EMPEROR QIAN LONG at Sungei Besi here on Mar 22. The Selangor Turf Club racing stewards heard his appeal yesterday. After considering submissions from Zairi and the deputy chief stipendiary Steward, the racing stewards allowed the appeal. His appeal deposit was refunded.  |
