Tim Bell off the mark in Singapore

LIM'S BULLET gives Bell his second win today.

It has taken several race days but Timothy Bell made it count at Kranji here today when he booted home a double on HADES and LIM'S BULLET.

The former Brisbane champion was in Singapore last July for the Juvenile Championship meeting, winning on LIM'S SPRINT.

This time, Bell is licensed to ride in Singapore until the end of the year. After 18 unsuccessful rides, he finally hit the mark with HADES, who made it three wins in nine starts in the Class 4, Div 1 - 1200m sprint.

It was a hard-fought victory as HADES won by a nose from SOLARIS SPECTRUM.

"It’s nice to get that first win and hopefully it will snowball into more," said Bell.

And he wasted to time to pick up another win in the very next event for the same connections that gave him his very win in Singapore a few months before.

It was a easier win for Bell as LIM'S BULLET as the gelding coasted home by a length after finishing third and second in his previous two runs.

In both races, Bell rode quietly off the pace before taking his mounts to the outside for the run home.
