Trainer Jerome Tan might have won four of the six
home-based races contested here today, but it was Salee Saad and Sharee
Hamilton who had most reason to celebrate.
Salee and Hamilton created a bit of local racing history when they combined
to win on MR VICTORY, a first by a husband and wife team.
Hamilton, who marked her debut meeting as a full-fledged trainer with a
double last Sunday, scored her third win with MR VICTORY. This time her
husband Salee was on hand to guide home the former Singapore galloper.
MR VICTORY failed to win in Singapore and has now picked up two wins in
Malaysia, having started 24 times in all.
