Muhammad Pauzi finally landed his first win when he booted home
MYSTIC WARRIOR to victory in a Class 5 - 1100m sprint at Sungei Besi here
today. Indentured to
trainer Johnny Lim, it was perhaps appropriate that Haris' first win should
be for his master but the win came as a huge shock for punters.
The second least backed runner in the field of
14, MYSTIC WARRIOR cut down the front-running and favourite MILITARY STAR to
win by a head and paid RM561 for a win.
It was the second win in 26 starts for MYSTIC
WARRIOR since coming over from Australia where he was lightly raced at three
and four, starting five times for two placings.
