Harrys Pal back in favour in main event

KUALA LUMPUR:  Nov 8, 2015

HARRYS PAL, who won five races for the departed trainer David Miller, has picked up his first win in three starts for leading trainer Richard Lines.

Lines won half the card of eight races today with former champion trainer Frank Maynard picking up three wins.

Despite finishing down the field in his last two starts, beating two home (14th) in the Perak Gold Vase in Ipoh last July, nine-year-old HARRYS PAL started a firm third favourite in the combined Classes 1 & 2 race over 1200m.

Ridden by Jose De Souza, HARRYS PAL quickly went to the front on settling down and led his rivals on a merry chase before winning by three lengths.

Earlier, Lines saddled two popular winners, MORE POWER (RM9) and REAL MEAN (RM8) and wound up the day with JAZZ IT UP (RM30) who upset the favourite TWO M AND M in the final event.
