Michael Migale has joined
an elite band of apprentices to score in their debut when successful on
BELWINS in a
Class 5 - 1200m handicap here today.
Migale was one of seven
track riders from Mauritius who graduated from the Perak Turf Club
Apprentice Training Academy early this year having achieved a level of
competency in various discipline required to become a professional jockey.
Four of them have been in
action since January, with Rashpasing Mayur scoring on KIWI MAESTRO on Jan
11.
And today, it was Daniel Jagasishan's
turn to get off the mark. Daniel took the opening event on
NEVERUNCONDITIONAL. It was the second win in nine outings for the
three-year-old.
Michael Migale and Mahess
Khoody made their long awaited debut today. The former was an instant hit
with the Ismadi Ismail-trained BELWINS.
The veteran galloper was
scoring for the second time for Ismadi, after chalking up six wins for other
trainers since late 2010.
