MAJESTIC MOMENTS holds off the challenges of ALPHA

The only previous occasion MAJESTIC MOMENTS raced on the polytrack, he emerged victorious over the mile.

And three-year-old made it count again when sent over the same track and distance in the Benchmark 89 event here tonight.

Again partnered by Nooresh Juglall, MAJESTIC MOMENTS justified his favourite tag when he came from midfield to win by half a length for his fifth win in 13 starts.

The New Zealand gelding was third in the Group 2 Singapore 3YO Classic but failed to show up in the Group 1 Singapore Guineas before finishing second to DARCI CHARMER in a Kranji Stakes B event last time out.

"He hit the front a bit too early but that’s expected as he is still a little young," said Juglall. "But he’s a very smart horse, an up-and-coming horse and he will have a nice and bright future ahead of him."
