After struggling to win for
nearly two seasons despite two changes of trainer, SPEED POWER has finally
found his rhythm and is now going full steam ahead.
With Eleandro Lopes, his
partner in his last three starts, currently serving a suspension, Jose De
Souza took over the reins but has no problem steering SPEED POWER to his
fourth consecutive win in a Class 5 - 1100m sprint at Sungei Besi here
today.
SPEED POWER's dam
ESPECIALLY is a half-sister to SKATING, who was top of the 1992/93
Australasian 3YO Classification (1000m-1400m) and winner of seven races
including the AJC Doncaster Handicap and STC Winfield Classic, both Group 1.
Richard Lines again
dominated the proceeding at his home base, winning four of the eight races
on the card.
