Perfect evening for Salim Yusoff

SINGAPORE:  Dec 11, 2015

Rookie apprentice Mohd Salim Mat Yusoff had a perfect evening when he scored on both his two rides on NATION THEATRE and WELL DONE at Kranji here this evening.

It's his first ever double since be began riding back in January and notched his first win on KAISER two months later.

Salim was riding NATION THEATRE for the first time but showed per4fect understanding of his mount as he brought the gelding from just off the pace to win by one and a half lengths. It was the fourth win in 31 starts for the Fastnet Rock gelding.

Salim was also partnering WELL DONE for the first time and this win was more dramatic as he found himself well back in the running until the top of the straight.

But WELL DONE, who has back-to-back wins in the middle of the year, picked up the leaders one by one to win drawing away by three-quarters of a length.

The double brought his tally for the season to seven.
