Selangor cancels seven race days

KUALA LUMPUR:  Feb 13, 2015

Selangor Turf Club, in response to trainers based at the club, has agreed to cancel seven race days during the first half of the 2015 racing season.

They are:

Saturday, Feb 28
Saturday, Mar 21
Saturday, Apr 4
Saturday, May 9
Sunday, May 24
Sunday, Jun 7
Saturday, Jun 27

The club also announced an increase in the prize money for the following categories:

Metro B - RM80,000 (previously RM75,000)
Metro C - RM60,000 (RM55,000)
Metro D - RM40,000 (RM35,000)
Class 3 - RM70,000 (RM55,000)
Class 4 - RM45,000 (RM40,000)
Class 5 - RM20,000 (RM17,500)
Maiden - RM30,000 (RM17,500)
Restricted Maiden - RM70,000 (RM65,000)
Premium - RM60,000 (RM50,000)
