Four strikes in-a-row for Aussie gelding

Coming to Singapore has seen a complete change of fortunes for MY LUCKY STRIKE.

The Australian gelding was placed once each at Caulfield and Sandown from three starts as a juvenile in Australia before finding a new home at Kranji where he has adapted remarkably well to the polytrack.

Unbeaten in three previous starts over 1000m, MY LUCKY STRIKE defied a promotion to make it four in-a-row in the Class 3 - 1100m handicap at Kranji here tonight.

"He’s also a very unassuming sort of horse who goes about his business quietly," said trainer Mark Walker who is leading the table with 11 winners thus far this season. "We’ve raised the bar with him and he’s answered very well each and every time."

MY LUCKY STTRIKE will now be aimed for the Singapore Three-Year-Old Challenge series from March to May.
