WOJCINSKI, a former
three-time winner in Singapore, revelled in the mud to register his first
win in Malaysia with a runaway win in a Class 4 - 1000m handicap here today.
While all the other seven
races were keenly contested in the soft going, the nine-year-old, ridden by
Amirul Ismadi, made all the running and coasted home by
six-and-three-quarter lengths.
WOJCINSKI won once in
Australia and had three wins in Singapore before crossing the causeway two
years ago.
Ten-year-old TWELFTH AVENUE
is still packing a punch despite his age. Ridden by Harmeet Singh Gill, the
New Zealand gelding nailed the front-running ADMIRAL DELIGHT to win by a
neck in a Class 5 - 1200m sprint.
It was his 12th win in 86
starts dating back to 2008. He managed just one win in Singapore but has
been a money-spinner in Malaysia since early 2010.
