Apprentices hog limelight at KL

Apprentices stole the thunder from the seniors riders when they bagged six of the nine races on the card at Sungei Besi here today, with Zulfikri Salim and Lim Aun Kean both booting home a double.

Zulfikri started the ball rolling by taking the opening race with seasoned campaigner CHAMPAGNE ROSE, then followed up with SEA WORLD who has now eight wins in 26 starts.

The double placed Zulfikri 11th in the overall table with 15 wins.

Lim's double on POLO BOY and WILL BE BETTER brought his tally to 30 wins and placed him fourth in the table.

There was also wins for Aizat Abdul Malik (MISTER MIYAGI) and Faizal Wahidon (VALENTINE BABY).
