clear winner in Trophy

BLACK AND WHITE scored a runaway
win in the RM55,000 Tasmanian Turf Club Goodwill Trophy here today to
complete a hat-trick and made it four wins in his last five starts.
The Australian gelding's run of form came after a lapse of 12 months without
success.
His present winning streak is not without precedent. In 2013, the son of
Mutawaajid reeled off four consecutive wins and picked up two more wins in
his next four starts in early 2014.
BLACK AND WHITE showed that he is truly back at his best with his last three
wins coming in Enrich Stakes A company.
With Aizat Abdul Malik in the saddle, BLACK AND WHITE made all the running
in the set-weight event today and romped home by 2 1/2 lengths for his 13th
win in 40 starts.
Sold for A$26,000 as a yearling, he was re-presented at the 2YO Horses In
Training Sale and went under the hammer for just A$11,000. Did they miss
something in the ring?
