Black And White racing in peak form

BLACK AND WHITE is racing at the peak of his form and this season could be the best yet for the Australian gelding since reeling off four consecutive wins in his debut season in 2013.

After finishing second to IMPEL in the Tunku Gold Cup last February (he was third to BALOTELLI in the same race last year), the five-year-old has gone on to win three of his next five starts.

Partnered by M Ganeesh for the first time today, BLACK AND WHITE took advantage of a favourable draw (4) to lead from start to finish, beating off last week's winner LEMON LAW by a neck.

It's the 12th win in 39 starts for the gelding who was bought for A$26,000 as a yearling but re-sold months later at the Horses in Training sale for just A$11,000.

What a bargain that has turned out to be for he has now earned more than RM840,000 in prizemoney.
