Triple Coin keeps on spinning

TRIPLE COIN not not only defied his age, but also created a record with his 11th career win when he captured the opening event at Sungei Besi here today.

The Malaysian bred has been a winner in every season bar one (in 2012) since he began racing in December 2008.

Ridden by jockey of the moment, Khairil Zulkiflee, the 10-year-old gave his younger rivals a lesson in galloping when he won easily to pay RM48.

Trainer Johnny Lim enjoyed his best afternoon for quite some time when he won half the card of 10 races on his home ground.

The 2008 and 2009 champion trainer's haul included wins in four consecutive races. His first winner MYSTIC WARRIOR paid a generous RM43 but the other four started favourite in their respective races.
