Debt Collector bags Jumbo Jet Trophy

Returning to racing after nearly four months, DEBT COLLECTOR picked up where he left off when he snatched a narrow win in the S$200,000 Jumbo Jet Trophy at Kranji here today.

The Thorn Park gelding emerged as the top of his class when he won the last two legs of the Three-Year-Old series including the Group 1 Singapore Guineas.

The New Zealand gelding then went for a well-deserved break and despite the break, made it five consecutive wins in the Group 3 1400m sprint today against open company.

Partnered by Michael Rodd who rode him to three of his last four wins, DEBT COLLECTOR came from a long way back in the running and despite drifting wide out, just edged out NOVA STRIKE by a nose.
