OUR RIVER DANCER and LEE'S MELODY,
who both began the 2016 season with a victory, was finally back in the
winner's circle at the same track that they found success.
OUR RIVER DANCER was transferred to Malaysia to join Sharee Hamilton at the
end of last year and made an instant impact with a win last April.
But it took the son of Danehill Dancer five more runs before finding the
mark again at Penang here today, winning a Class 5 - 1300m handicap.
OUR RIVER DANCER scored back-to-back wins in the middle of last year in
Singapore.
LEE'S MELODY began the season with back-to-back wins in Penang and then Ipoh
but struggled for the next eight starts before winning a Class 5 - 1100m
sprint today. It was the fifth win in 44 starts for the son of Murtajill.
