Big upset by In Fact in Moonbeam Vase

IN FACT joined a growing list of horses Argentina who has made their marks and won feature races in Singapore when he scored a spectacular upset in the Group 3 JBBA Moonbeam Vase at Kranji here today.

The least-backed runner in the 11-horse field was first across the line in the 1800m event after a superb ride by Mohd Firdaus and gave the apprentice his first big win since coming over from Malaysia in 2014.

"t’s fantastic. I didn’t expect the horse to win, but today he raced better than at his last run," said Firdaus who first rode the gelding last time out last month.

IN FACT beat the favourite TITANIUM by a heads, deny James Peters his first feature race win since making his bow on Friday evening.

IN FACT raced for two seasons on Australia for two wins and has now picked up three wins in 22 starts in Singapore.
