Field Force too strong for tivals

FIELD FORCE continued his march to the top with an easy victory in the Cosmo C - event over 1000m here today.

The Australian gelding landed last December for trainer Evelyn Seet but was transferred to Nor Azman before his debut. The latter has saddled him six times for four wins.

Apprentice Lim Aun Kean, who scored twice on the gelding, again had the mount today.

Given the gelding's impressive record thus far, FIELD FORCE surprisingly started the set-weight event at long odds of RM70.

But the four-year-old was simply too good for his rivals, leading from start to finish to win by 1 1/2 lengths.
