Apprentice Joseph See stole the
thunder on the second day of the 2016 racing season in Singapore when he
booted home four winners at Kranji here today.
His first ever four-timer from just six rides came on the
heels of a successful 2015 season in which he rode 22 winners to finish
third in the apprentice table.
Western Australian-trained See started the afternoon on a
winning note, guiding GOLD STOCK to his maiden win in eight starts in the
Class 5 - 1100m handicap.
He quickly followed up with another winning ride on POLE
PARADISE, whose only previous win came in 2014, in the Class 4, Div 3 -
1200m sprint.
See, who has ridden NORTHERN BOSS in all but one of the
gelding's previous 11 starts, chalked up his fourth win on the four-year-old
in a Class 4, Div 2 - handicap.
He then wound up the afternoon winning for the third time
on RED ANT in the final event, the Class 4, Div 1 - 1200m sprint.
"I’m
really happy. It’s my first four-timer ever, whether it’s here or Perth,"
said See. "It’s just one of these days when all the horses go well for you
and everything fell into place."
