Veteran Lazaroo
picks up 10th win PENANG:

Ten-year-old LAZAROO showed that
there is plenty of fight left in him with a comeback win in a Class 5 -
1400m handicap here today.
Shafrizal won once on the Australian gelding last March and LAZAROO picked
up another win a month later.
Since then, LAZAROO found one to beat twice with Shafrizal in the saddle but
there have been some disappointing runs too.
However, LAZAROO was was unstoppable today. After being tucked next to the
rails behind the pace, Shafrizal sent the gelding through on the inside of
the front-running ALI BABA at the 200m and cleared away to win by 1 1/4
lengths.
It was the 10th win in 72 starts for the gelding dating back to September
2010.
Prior to coming to Malaysia, LAZAROO picked up a win from 12 starts in
Australia.
