LISTEN, whose career faltered badly after a promising
start, has finally regained his form after more than two years, a change of
country and three changes of trainers.
The son of Iffraaj started his career in fine fashion
when he won his first two starts at Kranji in early 2013. Later that year,
he picked up another win but lost his way after that.
After a fruitless 2014, LISTEN was shipped to Kuala
Lumpur but made no headway until he came under the charge of Anna Scott in
the latter part of last year.
LISTEN finished fourth in his first start under Scott,
then third before winning a Class 4 event over 1400m in December.
LISTEN defied a promotion when he captured the Sungei
Besi Autoworld Trophy (Class 3 - 1400m) here today, ridden for the first
time by apprentice Shafrizal Salleh.
Nine-year-old KIM DIVA showed that
she is as fit as ever by making it three wins in-a-row in a Class 5 - 1100m
handicap. The mare has now won 11 times in 72 starts since 2009.
