Eclipse's Secret thrives in Malaysia

Purchased for racing in Singapore, ECLIPSE'S SECRET never saw action at Kranji after landing there in early 2014.

After spending several months on the sidelines, the New Zealand gelding, purchased by his owner for NZ$45,000 at the Ready To Run sale, was shipped to Frank Maynard in Kuala Lumpur.

ECLIPSE'S SECRET has thrived in the country and made an immediate impact when he scored first-up last April.

The gelding was first-up again last November after spending five months on the sidelines and he made it three wins from five starts when he easily accounted for a Class 4 field over 1200m at Sungei Besi here today.

Jose De Souza, last two years' top rider, has now partnered him in all his three wins.

But the star in the saddle was jockey Ruzaini Supien who registered his first-ever treble on KIM DIVA, LUWAK COFFEE and CUTTING TORCH.
