Tidal Wave sweeps to another win

TIDAL WAVE, who landed in Singapore in mid-2014 but never raced at Kranji, is sweeping all before him in Malaysia.

Partnered by SS Vanan for the first time, the Australian four-year-old defied a promotion to capture the main event, the Class 3 - 1100m sprint, to make it five wins in six starts this season.

TIDAL WAVE was on board in three of his four outings last year but he just took off this season, improving with every run.

Vanan enjoyed a personal best afternoon when he booted home three winners, starting with RUSSELL THE CROWE, a maiden win in 12 starts.

Vanan then piloted GIBRALTAR PARK to a debut win in the weight-for-age Breakthrough Stakes.
