KL races curtailed due to safety concern

The Selangor meeting at Sungei Besi here today was called off after just half the card of 10 races have been run, but not before home based trainers Richard Lines and PS Kumaran bagged an early double each.

Lines had the perfect start with D'GREAT ERA, placed just once in eight starts since his only win last July, and AMI ELEVEN, who made it two wins and two seconds from five starts in Malaysia after being winless in Singapore.

Kumaran found success with a pair of eight-year-olds, SACRED CITY, placed on both his two runs earlier this season, and SAM THE MAN, his second win in 2017.
