Flying Darci storms to third Malaysian win

FLYING DARCI, a model of consistency since relocating from Singapore in the middle of this year, picked up his third success in Malaysia with a hard-fought win in a Class 4 - 1400m handicap here today.

Jockey Lou Ho settled the seven-year-old off the pace in a compact nine-horse field. Ho had to switch his mount out for a run when the field bunched up at the home bend.

FEISTY LEO hit the lead at the 200m with TAWQEET and FLYING DARCI looming on his outside. FLYING DARCI did best in the run home to win by a head.

The New Zealand gelding, who won four times in 41 starts at Kranji, has now three wins and five placings in 10 starts in Malaysia.
