bag double

Apprentices Saddam Hussein Saari
and Wong Kam Chong landed a double each before inclement weather forced the
cancellation of the last four races on the card here today.
Saddam had a pair of veteran gallopers to thank for his double -
nine-year-old RUSH and seven-year-old THONG'S JIAQING.
RUSH returned to the winner's
circle after more than three years to record his 11th win in 87 starts.
Wong was successful on GOOD TASTE and D'GREAT VULTURE who followed up on his
win last month to scored back-to-back wins.
The
Panel of Stewards after considering the inclement weather and the state of
the track, decided to cancel Races 7 to 10.
