DREAM COMES TRUE just edges out LUCKY

Being sold to a new owner and
coming under trainer Daniel Meagher has seen DREAM COMES TRUE taken on an
amazing path.
Since coming under his new trainer last February, the New Zealand gelding
has gone on to win three starts in five starts, compared with one win in
five last year when trained by Mark Walker.
While his previous four wins had been on the turf, DREAM COMES TRUE showed
that he is just as capable on the polytrack when he made all the running to
win the Benchmark 67 - 1100m handicap on the polytrack at Kranji here
tonight.
"It
was a gutsy win from the horse and a great ride from CS (Chin)", said
Meagher. "This horse has had a lot of issues, and the key to him is to keep
him fresh and space his runs. I’m very glad to see him win three out of five
for me, and I hope to just keep him sound and happy."
