Cecil Robert was the toast of the
home based trainers here today when he won half the card of eight races,
with WORLD HARMONY picking up his 10th win in 37 starts.
The New Zealand gelding made his debut this month in 2014 and it took him
six starts to get his maiden win. From then on, he made steady progress to
be one of the top gallopers in the country, finishing third (to MR
ARMSTRONG) in the Sprint Trophy and fourth (to IMPEL) in the Perak Gold Vase
last year.
WORLD HARMONY beat one home in his last outing last month but quickly
rebounded to defeat the favourite IMPEL by a nose in a thrilling finish in
the Enrich Stakes A event over 1200m.
Purchased for just NZ$7,000 at the
Ready To Run sale, he has now earned close to RM450,000 in 37 starts.
Robert's other winners were PROBABLY, WINDCHASER and MATA MATA.
This is the second time this season Robert saddled four
winners in an afternoon, the last being on March 12, also on this track,
when WORLD HARMONY and WINDCHASER were also amongst his winners. The other
two then were PIUS TOUCH and JULY JUHO.
Meanwhile, Ruzaini
Supien was also in great form when he won the
first three races astride NO MONEY NO TALK, KEEPITCONFIDENTIAL and PROBABLY.
