first-up after spell

DIVIDED HOUSE bounced back to form
after a let-up to notch her fifth win in the Benchmark 74 - 1200m sprint on
the polytrack at Kranji here tonight.
Partnered by Michael Rodd, the I Am Invincible mare as usual settled well
off the pace early but turned in a terrific burst of speed in the home
stretch to win by 3/4 length.
"She’s
got a good first-up record and she will improve from it. She had a lovely
run, and she looked a winner," said trainer Cliff Brown. "But at some point,
I thought she would blow out but she didn’t."
After her last win last October, DIVIDED HOUSE was unplaced the following
month before given a spell.
She was placed in two of her four starts in Perth before coming to
Singapore.
