SONG TO THE MOON makes it three wins in a row this season when he passed his biggest test yet when he captured the Open Handicap event over 2000m at Kranji here tonight.

Ridden by Nooresh Juglall who also scored twice on him last year, the New Zealand four-year-old came from last in the seven-horse field to beat stablemate PERFECT P by a nose.

TIME ODYSSEY finished third to make it a 1-2-3 for first-season trainer Ricardo Le Grange.

Purchased for NZ$230,000 at the Ready-To-Run sale, SONG TO THE MOON has now won five times in 10 starts and will be one of the favourites in the Derby this July.

"Song To The Moon has always shown stacks of ability and he showed it again tonight," said Le Grange. "He’s always been more of an on-the-pace runner but tonight, he showed he could come from off the pace as well."
