Penang races called off after 3 races

PENANG:  Nov 4, 2017

Three veteran gallopers handled the soft track best to their respective races before the Penang Turf Club called off the remaining programme here today.

Nine-year-old JACKPOT landed his first win of the season with a four-length win in a Class 5 - 1400m handicap while PRINCE ISLANDER and ZAC GALLANT, both eight year olds, also triumphed.

Only three of the scheduled eight races were held before the Club deemed the track unsafe for racing.
