Another feature win for Multi Wealth

A year ago at the corresponding meeting here, MULTI WEALTH caused a big upset to win the Swettenham Stud Trophy, a Class 4 event over 1200m.

The Australian gelding failed to win again, until this afternoon when he fought hard to capture the Perth Racing Trophy, also a Class 4 handicap over 1200m. It was his fifth win in 32 starts.

Favourites took a severe beating today with none winning the eight races on the card. Two seasoned campaigners bounced back to form to capture the other two features races.

Eight-year-old NATURE IS NATURE picked up his first win since April last year to bag the Tattersalls Trophy to cause the day's biggest upset. It was his seventh win in 50 starts. He paid RM92.

Nine-year-old OUR FRIENDLY DIVA returned to the winner's circle for first time since November 2015 to record her eighth win in 63 starts in the Royal Turf Club of Thailand Trophy. She paid RM56.
