Nooresh charges up the table with treble

Nooresh Juglall booted home three winners at Kranji her today to move to fifth in the table, the same position he ended the 2017 racing season.

It was his first treble for more than a year and the Mauritian jockey would definitely seek for a better placing this time around.

AEOLUS kicked off a superb afternoon for Juglall when he broke through in his 21st start to take the opening event.

Despite having been unplaced in four starts, MYSTIC PRIDE started favourite in the Maiden - 1400m event and duly obliged to give Juglall a double.

Juglall then had to work overtime in CHARGER to pip the front-running TALES OF SUMMER by a nose in the Class 3 - 1200m handicap to complete his treble. It's the third win in nine starts for the Dick Turpin colt.
