Littlebitofjoy lands comeback win

At his peak, LITTLEBITOFJOY is the best of his generation with three wins in the Perak Derby, one of only two horses (the other being OPPOSING FORCE) to achieve that feat in the 2400m feature.

Now ten years old, the American gelding showed that he is far from being a spent force when he easily captured a Class 4 - 1600m event here today.

Ridden by Daniel Jagadishan, LITTLEBITOFJOY was the first to break and made every post a winning one, finishing 1 3/4 lengths ahead of debut winner RASMEE.

It was the first win since April 2016 for LITTLEBITOFJOY but his 10th overall in 60 starts.

LITTLEBITOF JOY won his first two Perak Derby with Edylyn Goh who has relinquished her licence since. His third Derby success was under his current trainer Ismadi Ismail.
