Trudeau still winning at 10 years

After failing to make any impression in three big races in the last three months, TRUDEAU is back in the winner's circle when pitted against the same sort of company which brought him success the last time.

Twelve months ago, the Australian gelding won a Cosmo C event over 1400m in his second start in Malaysia after crossing over from Singapore.

TRUDEAU was then sidelined for eight months and made no impression at all in five starts on resuming.

But back to Cosmo C company, the gelding showed a glimpse of his best form to win by 3-1/4 lengths and paid RM88.

At his peak, TRUDEAU won the Group 3 Garden City Trophy and Group 2 EW Barker Trophy in Singapore. He also captured the Piala Emas Sultan Selangor when it was cross-border race in 2014.

Now as a 10-year-old, TRUDEAU showed that he has not lost his zest for racing.

Today's win was his ninth in the MRA circuit. He also won two races in Australia before moving to Singapore.
