Silver Victor shines in Malaysia

Shipped to Malaysia after just one run as a four-year-old in Singapore, SILVER VICTOR is proving to be a shining for Lim's & Mark's Stable in his new country.

The son of Von Costa de Hero was purchased for A$110,000 as a yearling and did not race at two and three.

SILVER VICTOR arrived in Singapore in July 2016 and it took him 10 months to have his first race but he finished last in Open Maiden company.

Sent over to Johnny Lim at Sungei Besi, SILVER VICTOR won his Malaysian debut in Class 4 easily. After a third and a second, the gelding bounced back with a runaway win last month.

Last week, SILVER VICTOR defied a promotion to score over 1200m in Class 3 and he beat the same horse (BADCOE) again at Sungei Besi today, but over a longer trip of 1400m.

Home based trainers made of a clean sweep of the 12 races, with Richard Lines leading the way with four winners.
