Harbour Approach lands double

HARBOUR APPROACH made it two wins from two starts in Malaysia with an easy win in a Banded 62-89 set-weight event here today.

Ridden by Yudanyl Aify, the English gelding settled nicely in third spot before tackling the leaders at the 300m. L'APPRENTI SORCIER also put in his claim wide out at the same time.

HARBOUR APPROACH hit the front 200m and easily held off the challenge of L'APPRENTI SORCIER to win by 1 1/2 lengths.

On the board in both his two runs at two, HARBOUR APPROACH won at Kempton and was placed three times in eight starts at three in England, after which he was sold for 35,000 guineas at a Horses-In-Training sale.

Kuwaiti businessman and real estate developer Fahad Ibrahim Khalid al-Rashid, who bought 12 lots at the sale and brought them to Malaysia, has enjoyed good success with them.

HARBOUR APPROACH was his winner in Malaysia on March 30, followed by wins from LONELY BOY (twice), DIAMOND SET, POYLE CHARLOTTE and now HARBOUR APPROACH again.

No doubt, the other horses in his string will continue to add to that list.
