Bakuteh lands comeback win in feature

Early last year, BAKUTEH got his career off to a superb start when he battled to narrow wins in his first two outings.

Following the back-to-back double and a subsequent third placed finish, the Dick Turpin gelding has been unplaced in seven outings since and was even out of action for 12 months, returning last July under a new trainer.

In recent runs, however, BAKUTEH has been showing some of his dash and up against six rivals in the LCH Cup today, he was sent out odds-on favourite in the Class 4 - 1200m sprint.

Ridden by Shankar Muniandy, BAKUTEH made all the running to win by 3 1/2 lengths.
