Musang King tastes success again

It's the height of the durian season and the appropriately-named MUSANG KING is in full flow.

A win in a novelty meeting at this track last week was followed by another come-from-behind success in a Class 5 - 1200m hadicap at Sungei Besi here today.

Prior to that, the New Zealand gelding managed only one win in 28 starts and his maiden win came 16 months ago.

SHOWAR, also a winner last week, scored again in a Class 4 - 1400m handicap to make it 2 wins in 23 starts.

LAUS DEO took the Class 1 & 2 combined 1200m sprint to make it nine wins in 34 starts for the now eight-year-old.
