Relau Star continues to shine

RELAU STAR is back in the winner's circle in style following two runs last month after a let-up.

The son of Captain Sonador was one of the top three-year-olds last year, finishing second to STEP BY STEP in the Malaysia 3YO Championship Final and has gone on to perform credibly in open company since.

With Khairil Zulkiflee in the saddle, RELAU STAR settled just behind the pace before challenging for the lead 300m. Although inclined to hand in a little, he just pulled away to win by 2 1/4 lengths in the soft going.

RELAU STAR has now won eight times in 22 starts and was purchased by his trainer Wong Kong Fatt for just A$25,000 as a 2YO at the Horses In Training Sale.
