D'Great Vulture sweeps to eighth win

Shipped over to Malaysia after just one run at Kranji, D'GREAT VULTURE has proven his worth with eight wins in 42 starts in the country.

His latest success came in the Enrich Stakes A set-weight event over 1400m here today.

Ridden by Shafiq Rizuan for the first time, the five-year-old settled several lengths behind the early pace set by SATELLITE BOY.

Odds-on favourite PENDRAGON PRINCESS took over the running from the tiring pacemaker at the 400m.

D'GREAT VULTURE, who appeared to struggle to get going in the soft going, finally opened up in the final 150m and swept past the new leader to win home by 4 1/2 lengths.

The final races today were called off due to the inclement weather condition.
